Before you begin.

I’m brand new to yoga. Will I be lost?

You’ll be fine. The slowest, softest classes in the library — yin, restorative, breath & sit — require no prior practice. Every teacher offers modifications for every pose, and chair-based options run throughout the library. Start with a ten-minute Morning Sun and see how you feel.

What kinds of practice are in the library?

Yin, restorative, slow flow, sound bath, breathwork, and seated meditation. Every session sits on the soft, slow end of the spectrum — no power flow, no fast vinyasa, no hot rooms. If your nervous system needs a rest day, you’re in the right place.

Do I need props or special equipment?

A mat is nice but not required. Two pillows, a folded blanket, and a wall cover roughly 90% of what we use. Teachers always show household substitutes for any prop — books for blocks, a belt for a strap, a couch cushion for a bolster.

How often should I practice?

Whatever you’ll actually do. Five minutes a day beats sixty minutes once a month. Most members settle into three or four short sessions a week, plus one longer wind-down on a weekend. There’s no badge for streaks here — only the practice you keep coming back to.

Can I cancel?
